Welcome to 1Support. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using 1Support, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important: 1Support operates as a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent packers, movers, and related service providers. We do not provide moving services directly.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.

1. Definitions

1.1 Key Terms

  • “Platform” means the 1Support website, mobile app, and related services
  • “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to 1Support
  • “You,” “Your,” “User” refers to any person using our Platform
  • “Service Provider” means independent packers, movers, transporters, and storage providers listed on our Platform
  • “Services” means moving, packing, transportation, storage, and related services provided by Service Providers
  • “Booking” means a confirmed arrangement between a User and Service Provider facilitated through our Platform

2. Platform Role and Nature

2.1 Marketplace Platform

1Support is a marketplace platform that:

  • Connects Users with independent Service Providers
  • Facilitates communication and booking
  • Does NOT provide moving, packing, or transportation services directly
  • Does NOT employ Service Providers
  • Acts solely as an intermediary

2.2 Service Provider Independence

Service Providers on our Platform are:

  • Independent contractors or businesses
  • Not employed by 1Support
  • Solely responsible for services they provide
  • Required to maintain their own licenses, insurance, and certifications
  • Operating under their own terms and conditions

2.3 No Service Guarantee

1Support does not:

  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or timeliness of Service Provider services
  • Control or supervise Service Provider operations
  • Have custody of goods during moving or storage
  • Provide warranties regarding service outcomes
  • Assume liability for Service Provider actions or omissions

3. User Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3.2 Account Registration

When creating an account:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Not share your account with others

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
  • Refuse service to anyone at our discretion
  • Terminate accounts for fraudulent activity
  • Remove accounts inactive for extended periods

4. Use of Platform

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use our Platform to:

  • Request quotes from Service Providers
  • Compare services and pricing
  • Book moving and related services
  • Communicate with Service Providers
  • Provide reviews and feedback

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten Service Providers or other Users
  • Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
  • Scrape, copy, or download Platform content without authorization
  • Use automated systems (bots) without permission
  • Post malicious code or viruses
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
  • Interfere with Platform operations or security
  • Use the Platform for commercial solicitation unrelated to moving services

4.3 Intellectual Property

All Platform content is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws:

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content
  • Service Provider listings are for personal use only
  • Company names, logos, and trademarks are protected
  • Unauthorized use may result in legal action

5. Service Request and Booking Process

5.1 Requesting Quotes

When you request quotes:

  • Provide accurate information about your moving needs
  • Multiple Service Providers may respond
  • Quotes are estimates, not final binding prices
  • You are under no obligation to accept any quote

5.2 Quote Validity

Quotes provided through the Platform:

  • Are estimates from Service Providers, not from 1Support
  • May be subject to change based on actual assessment
  • Are not binding until confirmed directly with Service Provider
  • Depend on accuracy of information you provide
  • May have expiration dates set by Service Providers

5.3 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed when:

  • You and Service Provider agree on terms
  • Service Provider confirms availability
  • Any required deposit is paid (if applicable)
  • Booking details are documented

Booking terms are between you and the Service Provider.

5.4 Our Role in Bookings

1Support’s role is limited to:

  • Facilitating initial connection
  • Providing Platform for communication
  • Processing booking requests
  • Collecting feedback after service

We are NOT party to the service contract between you and Service Provider.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Structure

  • Customers pay Service Providers directly for services
  • Payment terms are between customer and Service Provider
  • 1Support does not process service payments

  • We remit payment to Service Providers per agreement

  • Service Provider assessment
  • Actual volume and weight of goods
  • Distance and accessibility
  • Special requirements
  • Additional services requested

Quotes are estimates; final prices may vary.

6.3 Deposits and Advance Payments

If applicable:

  • Some Service Providers may require deposits
  • Deposit terms set by Service Provider
  • Deposits are paid to Service Provider, not 1Support (unless we process payments)
  • Refund terms set by Service Provider

7. Cancellation and Refunds

7.1 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms are set by Service Providers and may include:

  • Cancellation fees based on timing
  • Deposit forfeiture for late cancellation
  • Full refund for early cancellation

Check specific Service Provider cancellation policy.

7.2 Refund Processing

If refunds are due:

  • Contact Service Provider directly (if paid to them)
  • Or contact us (if payment processed through Platform)
  • Allow 7-15 business days for refund processing
  • Original payment method typically used

7.3 Force Majeure Cancellations

In case of natural disasters, emergencies, or other force majeure events:

  • Service Providers may cancel without penalty
  • Rescheduling or full refund typically offered
  • Contact Service Provider to discuss options

8. User Responsibilities

8.1 Information Accuracy

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate moving details
  • Disclosing all relevant information to Service Providers
  • Updating information if circumstances change
  • Informing Service Provider of special requirements

8.2 Property Access

You must ensure:

  • Access to pickup and delivery locations
  • Parking arrangements for moving vehicles
  • Building permissions and elevator reservations
  • Availability on scheduled moving date

8.3 Prohibited Items

You may not ask Service Providers to transport:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Illegal items
  • Perishable food
  • Live animals or plants (in most cases)
  • Cash, jewelry, important documents (should be carried personally)

8.4 Insurance

You are responsible for:

  • Understanding Service Provider insurance coverage
  • Obtaining additional insurance if desired
  • Documenting condition of items before move
  • Filing damage claims per Service Provider procedures

9. Service Provider Responsibilities

Service Providers using our Platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information
  • Maintain required licenses and insurance
  • Provide fair and accurate quotes
  • Deliver services as agreed
  • Handle goods with reasonable care
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly
  • Resolve disputes in good faith

These are obligations between Service Providers and customers, not with 1Support.

10. Reviews and Feedback

10.1 Posting Reviews

You may post reviews that:

  • Are based on your actual experience
  • Are honest and factual
  • Do not violate others’ rights
  • Do not contain offensive or illegal content

10.2 Review Moderation

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove reviews that violate our policies
  • Verify authenticity of reviews
  • Remove fraudulent or fake reviews
  • Request additional information about reviews

10.3 Review Usage

By posting reviews, you grant us:

  • Right to display reviews on our Platform
  • Right to use reviews in marketing materials
  • License to reproduce and adapt reviews

11. Limitation of Liability

Service Providers are solely responsible for:

  • Quality and timeliness of services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1Support is NOT liable for:

  • Damage to goods during moving or storage
  • Delays in service delivery
  • Service Provider negligence or misconduct
  • Breach of contract by Service Providers
  • Quality of services provided
  • Personal injury during service delivery
  • Lost business or profits
  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11.3 Maximum Liability Cap

Our total liability to you shall not exceed:

  • The Platform fees paid (if any) in the 12 months prior to claim, OR
  • ₹10,000, whichever is less

11.4 No Warranty

Platform and services are provided “AS IS” without warranties:

  • No warranty of merchantability
  • No warranty of fitness for particular purpose
  • No warranty of uninterrupted service
  • No warranty regarding Service Provider quality

12. Indemnification

12.1 User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1Support from:

  • Claims arising from your use of the Platform
  • Disputes with Service Providers
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Inaccurate information provided

12.2 Legal Defense

If claims are made against us due to your actions:

  • You will cover our legal costs
  • You will cooperate with our defense
  • You will not settle without our consent

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Direct Resolution

First attempt to resolve disputes:

  • With Service Provider directly
  • Through their customer service
  • Through their dispute resolution process

13.2 Our Assistance

We may assist by:

  • Facilitating communication
  • Providing contact information
  • Sharing transaction records
  • Offering mediation (at our discretion)

Note: We are not mediators or arbitrators and cannot force resolution.

13.3 Arbitration

Disputes with 1Support (not Service Providers) may be resolved through arbitration in [Your City], India under Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

18. General Provisions

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1Support.
