It is built by Mughal architects in the year 1639. Its name comes from the red stone it has been carved with. It is in Old Delhi and it has an octagonal shape. It has several cultures mixed in it right from Persian, Hindu, Timurid, and of course Mughal. Today it is one of the national buildings of the nation.
