Akshardham Temple:
If you ever hear someone talking of an amazing temple in Delhi, that is definitely about Akshardham temple. It is a sheer dedication by bhakts to their God Swaminarayan. The places are beautifully carved with several bronze sculptures of various warriors and gods. Also, it is featured with a step well and covers around 60 acres of land overall. Its structure is so aesthetic and miraculous that lately, it has found its space in the Guinness World Records. If you are in Delhi, make sure you visit it once. Also, they often organize programs for teaching people the life and postulations of Swaminarayan. So, if you are there during one of those programs, do visit is for a lifetime experience!

Red Fort, Delhi:
It is built by Mughal architects in the year 1639. Its name comes from the red stone it has been carved with. It is in Old Delhi and it has an octagonal shape. Spread over an area of 254 acres, it has beautiful things in its vicinity. Right from a Mughal bath well to Moti Masjid, you will find it all there. It has several cultures mixed in it right from Persian, Hindu, Timurid, and of course Mughal. Today it is one of the national buildings of the nation. If you visit Delhi, you just cannot afford to forget this charming place.

India Gate:
This is the best war memorial you will ever come across in India. It was designed by Lutyens and has got 70,000 soldiers’ names carved on it. These soldiers belonged to world war 1. This looks beautiful with ar Jawan Jyoti in between the gate and is an amazing place to visit if you want to have a lasting impact of Delhi on your brain.

Hauz Khas Fort:
If you think Delhi is all about party hub spots, then go to Hauz Khas for sure. It is beautiful and the most fun-loving place for the party peeps. This is completely a wonder of Mughal architecture. The strange fact is that it was built in the 13th century and today also it stands tall with a little bit of maintenance. Do visit this place at least once when you are in Delhi.

Humayun’s Tomb:
This is the best architectural wonder you will ever witness. Spread over a large area, it has a huge vicinity with lush green lawns. It was built by Bega Begum for her King Humanyu. It has several graves of Mughals inside it’s closed space and it is the very first Mughal architecture that the nation saw. Do visit it if you have a charm for old archive facts and old places. You will love it for sure.
