Packing for college movement??? Packing and Moving Tips For College Students.
We have got it all sorted for you so that you don’t get troubled at the last moment.
College movement/shifting is the most troublesome thing for children as well as their parents. Children are excited as well as anxious about the new environment all the more. At the same time, it’s a big deal for parents to tackle their shifting process.
So, here we have all the details for the students who are moving into their college life as well as to a new place altogether.
Movable Storage:
Make sure that when you pack, you pack it in such suitcases which are easy to handle while you are in college. Initially, a college kid is too small and is not used to handling heavy suitcases or trunks. So, it is advisable to have a suitcase which has wheels attached to it for easy mobility. Ahead of that, it should have the least weight and it should be a mobile thing like a suitcase which you can carry on your journey too. If you take a trunk or box, you can just keep it at your dorm but you cannot take it on your trips.
Fit In Suitcase:
When you look for a suitcase, do look for a medium or small size suitcase. It would be better if it’s of a cloth material and can be molded easily to fit into your bed box. You may not consider such things while buying a suitcase but later on, it causes a lot of issues when you try to fit in that king-size luggage on a train or your new room. So, keep a check on that.
Essentials Bag:
Make sure you pack all your essentials in one separate bag that you can open up easily in your room when you need it. It may happen that you may not get time to unpack everything all at once. So, in that case, you will need to have a hold of your essentials bag to rush to college in the following week. Try keeping bathroom essentials, vanity essentials, food, and water along with some medicines and college books in it.

Keep Images:
Do click pictures of everything that you have packed. When you reach a new room and have unknown roommates, you may not be careful enough for your belongings, and it will be too risky as anything can be stolen or lost. So, do keep pictures so that even if you don’t get time to sort it all after reaching, you should not worry about losing anything as you have all the pictures in the record.
Electronics:
Do purchase electronics and small utility items like electric cattle etc. You may need them in most emergency hours when you are in your dorm. And while you are all new at the place, you may not find many cheap markets immediately. So that way you will need such petty things. Why not be pre-planned and keep them with you then?
